Balancing and Acrobatics

Acrobatic partner balancing, a blend of hand balancing and partner acrobatics, is a traditional circus act performed on the ground. Partners lift and balance each other into exciting poses, working as a team to achieve all kinds of incredible positions. Sessions will help to strengthen the entire body (upper body, core, lower body) and bring awareness and control to body movement.

Students don't need to bring a partner to session to participate – you will be working with all of the students in the session as well as the instructor to form a variety of poses on the ground and in the air. Instructors provide close supervision and spotting to ensure maximum safety.

Sessions are open to students of all background, experience and fitness levels unless otherwise noted; no prior experience is required. Students receive individualized instruction tailored to their comfort, skill, strength, and experience level. Each subsequent session builds on a student's skills and interest, incorporating more challenging positions, transitions and sequences.

We recommend fitted clothing that allows for a full range of motion.
